FAQ

I have no prior experience with circus. Can I join a class as a complete beginner?

Yes, absolutely! Our 101 classes are designed specifically for those who have little to no experience in circus. Take a look at our New Students page for more info!

What should I wear / what should I bring?

General workout attire will do, along with a top that will tuck in or not fall over your head when upside down. We recommend pants that cover the backs of your knee - such as sweatpants or leggings- when taking an aerial class. Please remove all jewelry prior to class. Don’t worry about shoes, you will want to be barefoot! Please bring a water bottle that you can refill at the school as there is no water for sale at our facility.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

There is 1-hour metered parking on Hollywood Blvd. You can find non-metered parking on Carlton Way behind the school, north of Hollywood Bvld. on Wilton, and Gramercy. Make sure to read the signs, and leave yourself plenty of time to find yourself a parking spot!

Do you have bathrooms/changing room/lockers?

We have a bathroom and a place to change your clothes, however we recommend that you arrive in your workout attire as these can become busy during class transitions. We have storage cubbies for your convenience, however we recommend you leave anything of value at home, as there is no way to lock away your valuables.

What about water?

We have a place to refill your water bottles but we do not sell water at the studio, so make sure to bring your own bottle!

I'm running late. What happens if I cannot make the class on time?

Late arrivals will not be allowed to join the class for any reason, and the class credit is forfeited. On your first visit you will also have a waiver form to complete - make sure to leave yourself some extra time to complete the class. See policies for more information.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel yourself from a class on Mind Body as long as the class is more than 24 hours in the future. Cancellations within 24 hours are considered “late cancels” and the class credit is forfeited.

Cancellations for private lessons must also be made 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within this time period are late cancels, and the entire fee for the private will be due, regardless of the reason.

Where is your facility located?

The entrance to the school is at the end of a very small brick alley, through a black gate on Hollywood Blvd. We are between Wilton and St. Andrews and are right across the street from Carpet Village and the Canon store with the red awning. Our address is:

5640 1/2 Hollywood Blvd.
Hollywood, CA 90028

There are open spots in a class, but I can’t sign up. Why?

If you are attempting to sign up for a class within 24 hours of its start time, you will not be able to reserve a spot online via Mind Body. If there are spots available on the day of a class, feel free to contact us by phone or email and we will be happy to reserve a spot for you.

I have previous circus/gymnastic/dance experience. Can I take a more advanced class?

Please see the "Previous Training" section on our New Students page.
