New Students

Our Cirque 101 classes are for Anybody with Anybody and are the perfect place to begin your training with us. These classes are for absolute beginners and experienced students looking to refresh or enhance their skills. If you have previous training and want to enroll in a higher level class please scroll down.

Classes

Our classes are not session based, meaning you are free to schedule the classes you want to take, when you want to take them. Better yet, classes don't expire!

As a new student, our Cirque 101 classes are the perfect place to begin your circus training and require no prior experience or prerequisites. These classes include Aerial 101Acrofit 101, Handstands 101 and Flexibility and Stretch 101.

These classes offer first time students a thorough introduction to our programming as well as providing supplemental training for our regular students.

Previous Training?

If you are coming to Cirque School with prior circus training and wanted to attend a more advanced class, please send a short video of yourself either training or performing on the apparatus or discipline in which you wish to be considered. The quality of the video is not important. If possible, please include yourself getting into and out of your tricks.

If you do not have video, you may take the appropriate 101 class for evaluation, or you can take a private lesson from one of our coaches who can evaluate you during the lesson. For information on private lessons, visit our classes page.

A video evaluation is required in order to properly maintain the integrity of our class levels, and to ensure the safety of both our coaches and students.

Please send your video to info@cirqueschoolla.com

Your first class

Please sign up for a class in advance in order to guarantee your spot! We don't hold spaces for walk-ups, so early registration is highly recommended. If the class you wish to take starts within 12 hours, you will not be able to sign up online. Please call or send an email to info@cirqueschoolla.com and we will let you know if you have been added to the class. We recommend workout attire that is well-fitting and shirts that will not fall over your head when upside down. Avoid excessively loose clothing and take off all jewelry, as they can get in the way of your training or damage the equipment. You will be barefoot during class.

We are located through a black gate and down a small alleyway on Hollywood Blvd., between N. Wilton Place and St. Andrews Place. Look for a red door at the far end of the alley that’s lit with decorative lights. Classes start on time and close to late arrivals. Please leave yourself plenty of time to find parking and make it to the studio. Students are billed for missed classes. For more information, visit our policies page.
